Ethically harvested and processed from fresh wild white willow bark, this product contains naturally occuring salicin, a precursor of salicylic acid (a BHA- beta hydroxy acid).
Salicin softens the old layers of skin causing it to gently slough off, promoting new skin growth which reduces the signs of skin ageing.
It also has an antiseptic and anti inflammatory effect and helps control over production of sebum, making it ideal for acne prone skin.
Willow bark is scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles, tactile roughness, pore size, improving radiance and overall skin appearance in just one week.
In one study, there were significant improvements to mottled pigmentation, firmness and jaw-line contour in 4 weeks.
Blended with hibiscus flower extract, it is very high in bio-complexes of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) which also provide gentle exfoliation while stimulating collagen synthesis.
It is rich in polyphenols which are powerful antioxidants and anthocyanins which reduce oxidative stress on DNA and act as a sunscreen; absorbing UV rays.
